I was in seventh grade when “Gilmore Girls” first aired on the WB. While navigating the awkward and angsty landscape that is middle school, “Gilmore Girls” was an escape; a quirky, whimsical world I could retreat to. A lot has changed since 2000, but I am still enamored of the show, which is why I couldn’t contain my excitement about the news of a “Gilmore Girls” revival on Netflix.
If you’re also a fan of “Gilmore Girls,” you know that food — between Friday night dinners at Richard and Emily’s house, breakfast at Luke’s Diner, and takeout from Al’s Pancake World — plays a huge role in the show. In honor of the triumphant return of the best TV show ever, here are all the things I’ve learned about food (and drink) from “Gilmore Girls.”

I have a pretty fast paced life. I'm fairly successful and travel a lot. Come from a really good family and love to spend the time I have with them and friends.
