For those with chronic bronchitis, it is often characterized by inflamed airways that have thickened and clogged with thick mucus. Experts advise to always use a mask or a covering for the nose and mouth to protect it from vapours of these substances from entering the body. Goggles are also advised to be worn during cleaning to also avoid getting the eyes contaminated with the substances and its vapours, along with gloves for the hands to avoid skin contact.
